here at 504 we are looking to build a laidback pb gpsl focused around the lives of characters lived in the city of new orleans. first and foremost, we will not tolerate drama oocly from any of the writers within the gpsl. we should all be adults here and know how to act as such. bullying a person over their race, religion, sexuality, gender identification, or political views will not be tolerated either. crossing the ic and ooc line is the last thing that will not be tolerated; this means that you cannot use information learned oocly in an ic context. we are just looking to create a fun writing environment for all of those involved and hope you wish to do the same.

it's simple to join our gpsl. all you need is an ic username for your journal that is related to your character's name in some form or fashion without underscores or numbers. you must have:

☑ an ooc contact post that has your character information. all we ask for is their full name, date of birth, age, hometown, occupation, and residence (where they live in the city new orleans proper or if they live in a nearby 'affordable' town, please be reasonable in choosing this).

☑ a friends locked ic contact post.

ON THE MATTER OF FACES, ALL WE ALL WE ASK IS THAT WE ARE EASILY ABLE TO FIND THEM WITH A SIMPLE GOOGLE SEARCH. PLEASE KEEP THEIR AGES REALISTIC DEPENDING ON THE CHOSEN FACE. no deceased persons will be admitted as an acceptable face.

you will be dropboxed if you are rejected with a reason as to why it happened.

upon acceptance into 504 you must make a post in ~OYSTERHOUSE within 72 hours or you will be removed. if your character is new to the city then this can be an introduction. if your character is a native or has lived in the area for years then feel free to get creative.

Activity requirements: (pick two! any two! we don't want to restrict creativity. so if you want to do two instagram posts or two public journal entries then go for it!)

☑ A private journal entry or narrative of at least 200+ words.

☑ an extensively coded entry (bag, home, phone, text thread, twitter/instagram page, playlist) but this should have some obvious work done and not a simple copy/paste job.

☑ A public journal entry of at least 150+ words with comments replied to.

☑ interactive social media post with comments replied to.

☑ FFA's are also acceptable.

we all know that the world isn't without it's flaws and we don't expect the roleplay world to be any different. that being said, we will accept criminal types as long as it's done respectfully. we will not tolerate a character running through the streets causing absolute mayhem. if you bring in a criminal character the mods will keep a watchful eye on you and we ask that you bring any massive plot points to us before acting upon them. (i.e. something that would heavily disrupt daily life in new orleans or be a form of breaking news due to it's scale.)

we are willing to accept minor celebrities. (i.e. instagram models, twitch streamers/youtubers, former sports players, former local government officials, etc. if you aren't sure what you are wanting to do is within our acceptable field please don't hesitate to ask us.)

trigger warnings must be labeled clearly for all narratives, social media post, journal entries, and threads.
